Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house and had a great time! I had to work 7-3 that day, but Andy's family was wonderful preparing a delicious dinner for us. Walt and Chris stayed with us from Tuesday until Saturday and we had a great visit!

We're famous!

Last weekend, Sophia and I were visiting my parents. My dad, Sophia and I went downtown Curwensville for awhile for the Home for the Holidays event. We were touring an older historic home and our picture was taken for the local newpaper, The Progress. This isn't the best copy of the picture - it's from an email my mom sent me, but you get the idea. Too bad Sophia wasn't looking at the camera!

Hershey Gardens and Sophia's Halloween dress

We took a family trip to Hershey Gardens this past Sunday. We've been wanting to go there for a while and finally did. It was very pretty and I'm looking forward to going back in the late spring to see more flowers in bloom. Sophia had a blast walking around in the grass!

Last fall, I got Sophia a Halloween dress for 70% off. I just guessed what size she'd be and I was right on! Below are some pictures of her in her dress. I also threw in a few misc. pics.

Visit to NC for Matt's 30th birthday party

Jessica, Amy, Sophia and I went to NC for Matt's surprise 30th birthday celebration. We were there from Friday till Sunday and had a really nice time. I can't believe my little brother is 30! Unfortunately, I hardly took any pictures and no one has shared there pictures with me yet. Below are a few of the better ones I was able to get.

Renaissance Faire

This past Saturday, we spent the day at the PA Renaissance Faire with Amy, Marilynn, Joe, Marilynn's mom, Mary Lynn and her boyfriend. We had a wonderful time and the weather was gorgeous! I even got a little bit of a sunburn! This was Sophia's second trip to the Ren. Faire and we hope to make this a yearly event. Below are some pictures from the day. Sophia was dressed a pirate girl. This weekend was Pyrate weekend at the Faire. She was a huge success in her costume - even the Queen stopped by to talk to her (we didn't get a picture)!

Bath time fun!

Sophia LOVES to get a bath. She loves to play in the bubbles and with all of her tubby toys. I realized last week that we don't have "bath time" pictures. Maybe these can be used to show future boyfriends....haha.

Fever

Sophia's had a fever since about noon on Wednesday. Last night before she went to bed, it was 102. I gave her Motrin and put her to bed. This morning, it was 101.7, so she got another dose of Motrin and I called the pediatrician. She also is rubbing/pulling her right ear sometimes. I think it will end up being teething related because I think her molars are starting to come in. We'll see. She's just not herself and I want her to feel better.
